Access is checked first
The relaunch was phased, starting with +1 countries. It set a limit of 30 Scout places per country, with allocation prioritising active Alpha and Beta Scouts. This is not a count of places available now. Check current access before buying a SIM.
Identity and terms
KYC is required for both Scout and Runner. Follow the official platform verification flow and accept the updated Terms & Conditions. Existing completed verification can be recognised by Unetwork.
SIM refunds
The relaunch limits Scout refunds to one SIM per carrier per month. Additional SIMs do not qualify for refunds. An eligible purchase still needs the required evidence and approval; registration alone does not approve reimbursement.
Rewards are conditional
Additional reports associated with extra SIMs do not earn UP under the relaunch rules. The announcement retains 5 UP for discovering new access and 4% of Runner call revenue generated from that access. Platform validation and the applicable task terms determine eligibility; these are not guaranteed earnings or the regular 55/45 license split.

Runner uses a registered dedicated prepaid SIM or eSIM and a call plan that covers the destination. Check the currently available route and the platform instructions before calling.
Check carrier cost before every test
Check the actual carrier call cost against the task reward before spending. Use 1 UP = US$1 (USD), convert non-USD carrier charges using the applicable exchange rate, and include any withdrawal fees and unreimbursed costs. Participation must make economic sense under the current terms. A displayed reward is not a guarantee of profit: unsuccessful or unconfirmed calls and carrier charges can affect the result.
Server confirmation matters
Runner repeatedly verifies already validated international voice routes. Follow the IVR instructions and check server-side confirmation. ASR means Answer Success Rate: it describes successful answers within the measured call attempts, not a guaranteed reward rate.

Questions before you start
Can I count on a fixed income?
No fixed income is promised. 1 UP = US$1 (USD). What varies is the number of UP earned, not this dollar value. Task availability, eligibility and validated activity affect rewards. Regular leases and Scout & Runner have separate applicable terms. Withdrawal eligibility, processing and any fees are separate. A payout in euros depends on the USD/EUR exchange rate.
